Mortal Coils are the very first molds I made. I found one of these candles in one of the oldest candle shops in Barcelona. I loved it so much and could not find this shape anywhere else. I decided to make my own version during the lock down and had many evenings burning multiples at the same time. it was very extravagant. And made me feel very content and safe while staring into its glow~ hence the name meridiem the glow between morning and night.
these candles take me the longest to make as they are poured and then shaped and then dipped.
